Blue Shoulder Bag

SOLD OUT ON 20.06.2009!

I make bags in my dreams. :) Sometimes I cannot sleep and I think about what I want to make when I wake up. This bag was on my mind for a long time. I had the blue outer fabric and the crane and the flowers. But until I found the perfect light blue (with bits of green and white) fabric for the lining, it didn't happen. The light blue cotton is made in Japan and of course expensive but I love it so much I didn't even bargain. I'm too shy to bargain anyway. So it didn't matter.

I decided this would be my first bag I list on Etsy. I wanted the first bag I list to have my signature - simple structure, clean embroidery particularly running stitches (my favourite stitch!).

Oh yes! Important announcement. I now "own" a online shop space. Heh heh. I'm very excited. I have PAYPAL as well. I'm no longer a cave woman. Yay! My husband thinks I should list only when I have several items on hand. But I simply couldn't wait. :)

Check it out at projectsbyjane.etsy.com

Cheers.

Bag For Viv

I made a bag for Viv from Vivi. I hope she likes it.

I used my favourite motifs for applique - peace symbol, heart, circles, flowers.
