Happy Valentine's Day! Whatcha doin today?
This morning I woke up at 6am which is a regular wake-up time for school term to discover 4 roses in a glass bottle on the computer table. Well, one of the roses is wilted but it's okay. Yay, as much as hubs doesn't believe in the Valentine's Day thingy, he decides it's better to give than not to give.
As for me, I gave him nothing because he doesn't need a gift from me to feel loved. That's the difference between him and me. I need the stuff, the gestures.
Since today is a day to indulge, I gave myself a little present as well. It's a piece of embroidered art. The embroidery is done by someone from China and these pieces of art are being sold in Singapore over the Chinese New Year period so it's kinda once a year thing. I really love the embroidery. It's so cheerful and gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteValentine's is just a day for exchanging sweet snacks for me (for now). Haha! Or perhaps a day for seeing other people's valentines do stuff for them.
