Turning over a new leaf

Hi folks,

It's 1st of April and I'm turning over a new leaf. And no, it's not an April Fools' Day joke. The day is almost ending in Singapore but I wanted to write a quick post to tell you what's what.

First of all, I was really disappointed in myself when I wrote my last post Where Did March Go? I really dislike letting time slip thru' my fingers. It seems time and again, I let it happen and then I will ask myself, where did the time go? Obviously time must have gone some where.

So I decided that I will find out where my time goes. To do that I shall blog DAILY in April. On 1st of May when I ask myself "Where did April go?", all I need to do is to read my April's daily blog post and I'll know. Isn't that a simple solution?

Basically, I will keep track of these items:
My sewing progress for my craft market
My ePatterns progress
My Diet and Fitness program
Time wasters

Hopefully I will learn something from this experiment to help me better myself, produce more work and stop doing the same stupid things that set me backwards again and again.

Obviously for today I don't have much to record as I was out all day at VivoCity craft market. But I did good on the diet. In fact, my jeans felt remarkably looser when I went home.

I only snacked on fruits. This little packet of mixed cut fruits cost $2. For this price, you get watermelon, papaya and guava. The mixture is always a surprise. I didn't really like the guava. Locals eat guavas with a sour plum and sugar concoction which defeats the health bit. I can understand why tho'. The guava I ate has a plain taste which you chew and chew and it doesn't get better.

I was gunning for vegetarian today but I spotted an interesting dish and I asked the cook what it was called. He said meirenyu which translates to pretty woman fish or mermaid. I mean, how could I say no to eating mermaid? So I had a non-vegetarian meal but I think it wasn't fattening. Btw, the mermaid rocks.

And I only had 1 cup of coffee and 1 cup of tea with sugar. I'm a changed person already. Usually I need a whole lot more.

See you tomorrow and I'll write my VivoCity craft market post mortem.

Don't worry Jane it is not just you who wonders where the time goes. I am also pondering what happened to March. I need to give myself a good talking to and get more organised.

What sort of 'fish' was the mermaid? Cos we all know there is no such thing as a mermaid! lol
I find it so easy to blog every day... but that's only because I can yabber on about almost nothing!

That mermaid fish is deep-fried and stirrd with a thick sauce that include sugar. Now you know why they taste good! But it's okay as long as you eat in moderaion. What's life going to be without fats and sugar?

Isn't eating mermaid a bit cannibalistic?
